Denali, also known as Mount McKinley, is the highest peak in North America, located in the central part of the state of Alaska. Denali stands at a height of 20,310 feet (6,190 meters) above sea level and is the centrepiece of Denali National Park and Preserve. 

Denali is named after President William McKinley, who was assassinated in 1901. The mountain has a long and rich history of human habitation and has been revered by Native Alaskan cultures for centuries. 

In addition to its natural beauty, Denali is also known for its challenging and often unpredictable weather conditions, which can make climbing the mountain a treacherous undertaking. Despite these challenges, many people are drawn to the mountain each year in an attempt to reach the summit
